MEET AQUAPORIN VIRTUALLY AT SIWW 2021

In the midst of the pandemic, Aquaporin adopts the virtual form of exhibition. This year, Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) moves fully online, and so do we. Aquaporin will exhibit on a virtual booth to share our knowledge and showcase our newest water treatment products and solutions that seek to remedy the major water issues facing the world today. Visitors will be introduced to our company, technology and products through videos, and we are looking forward to connecting with as many as possible in the virtual Meeting Hub.

TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE: WHY IS FORWARD OSMOSIS SO GENIOUS?

In the Technology Showcase session “Addressing Industrial Water Challenges with Aquaporin Inside® Forward Osmosis Technology", happening on 23 June 2:30pm-3:30pm SGT (7:30am-8:30am UKT), we will deep dive into our Aquaporin Inside® Forward Osmosis (FO) Technology and explain how FO can be used to optimize industrial wastewater treatment by highlighting some of our global FO projects. FO has shown unique advantages in dealing with challenging wastewater such as high organic contaminant streams and streams with quality fluctuations. With Aquaporin’s FO technology, treatment steps are simplified, system robustness is improved, and more water is recycled.

We will also share our recent development in FO Containerized Solutions (FOCS) through case stories. The FOCS system is an efficient solution for decentralized wastewater concentration and water recycling, suitable for a wide range of applications including landfill leachate concentration, challenging wash water concentration and valuables recovery.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS: LOW-ENERGY WATER TREATMENT FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

To contribute to the global green transition, we have been working on Low-Energy Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (LE-BWRO) membrane development since 2019 under an R&D project in collaboration with PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. At the SIWW Water Convention Poster Session, we will unveil our progress. During two poster presentations, you will get an insight into our achievements in the LE-BWRO membrane development from lab-to-pilot, benchmarking studies and the first pilot demonstration of energy savings at a wastewater treatment plant in Singapore.

You can find our poster presentations under the Poster Session program’s Theme 2: Delivering Water from Source to Tap (Treatment).
