Aquaporin appoints Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer
Aquaporin is pleased to welcome Matt Boczkowski to its executive management team as Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer effective March 29, 2021. Matt brings solid experience in the purification and separations industries in senior leadership roles encompassing corporate account management, business development, strategic marketing, technology development and business management.
Matt will be reporting to the Board and work closely with the entire executive management team, as we embark on a commercial journey to grow the company’s global reach in both industrial and drinking water applications.
Matt is strengthening Aquaporin in areas of commercialization, business development, marketing and strategic positioning. His knowledge of processes and methods acquired in his 20+ years of experience with global leaders in the water treatment and membrane industries are important assets to Aquaporin as we continue expanding and reaching new levels. Being a growth leader with a strong sales mindset, customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit, Matt will play an important role in promoting a customer-centric commercial culture at Aquaporin.

Matt Boczkowski
Prior to joining Aquaporin, Matt oversaw the creation of SUEZ’s industrial marketing department and played an important role in setting the strategy of the company. In his position as VP of new markets, marketing and growth, Matt identified new growth areas for SUEZ in various industries, including: O&G, Data Centers, Microelectronics, Life Sciences. Matt joined SUEZ in 2011, formerly GE Water, through its prestigious experienced commercial leadership program working with top executives at General Electric globally. In 2013, Matt was selected to lead the development of GE Water’s Upstream Equipment O&G initiative, where he successfully established a new line of products, services and project offerings aiming at extracting incremental oil resources and ensuring asset integrity. Before joining GE and SUEZ, Matt spent 8 years with Air Liquide, GEA and Pall where he held engineering, technical and analytical roles of increasing responsibility.
Matt holds an MBA from HEC Montreal, a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and a B.Sc in Microbiology and Biotechnology from McGill University, Canada.
